Your Pet's Best Friends
Tammy
Tammy – Office Manager
I’m blissfully married with two grown children, two dogs, and two cats. I have an associate degree in Animal Science and Poultry and Livestock Technology. Plus, I have vast experience working as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and now as an office manager.
I’ve been part of the team at Willow Grove Animal Clinic since 2002.
I entered this field because I’ve always enjoyed working with and helping animals and their owners. Being employed here for so long, I feel I’ve come to know our clients like family, and that makes me extremely happy.
The aspect I enjoy the most about my work is building trustworthy relationships with everyone who comes in. Getting to know your pets and your family on a personal level is what makes us unique and helps us give the guidance and support you both need.
In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and fishing. I also love traveling with my family. In fact, one item on my bucket list is to visit Hawaii with my loved ones.

Emily – Veterinary Assistant
I’ve lived in Greenville, NC since starting middle school and look forward to starting a family here.
Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I am so glad they are a part of my daily life. I’m thankful and blessed to be able to say I am in a career that I love.
The best part of my job is building relationships with families and your furry companions. Even if it’s a one-time visit, I do my best as a healthcare provider to give you the best experience and a feeling of comfort.
In my spare time, traveling to new places and exploring mother nature are things I genuinely love. I also enjoy art, music, and dancing. One fun and interesting fact about me is that I can wiggle my ears!
Victoria
Victoria – Veterinary Technician
I am from a small town called Kinston, NC. I love my family, especially my parents, brother, and papa. We grew up small and never really had much, but family is all we needed. I have two degrees, Marine Technology and recently Vet Technology from Cape Fear Community College. I plan to take my VTNE to become an RVT.
I chose this job for my love of animals. I want to be able to help other families get their pets back home safe and sound. For some, their pets are all they have, and to be a part of their lives and help them is the best feeling in the world.
The best part of my job is being able to meet the clients and patients. I also enjoy being able to help people understand their pets better, and teach them things they don’t know.
In my spare time, me and my dad are round track race car drivers. I love it! Otherwise you’ll see me with my friends and family. One day, my dream is to go skydiving or scuba diving.
Will
Will – Veterinary Technician
I received my degree in Veterinary Medical Technology with honors from Nash Community College. Nash’s VMT program started in 2018 and I was a member of the inaugural class. Now that I’ve graduated, I am continuing to study for the VTNE, the national board exam for the status of Registered Veterinary Technician.
Prior to joining the Nash VMT program, I spent 20 years in the financial services industry. I worked for the same company through two mergers and name changes. I always joke if anyone wrote a book about my life, the title would be “From Banking to Barking.”
For fun, I like to attend concerts, go to movies (especially those about dogs and horses), listen to music, and read books. My favorite movies are the Star Wars series. I also enjoy attending Carolina Hurricanes hockey games.
I am super excited to start my career here at Willow Grove. I plan on being an integral member of the team for many years. I truly admire Dr. Morphis and can definitely learn a lot from her. I have a dog named Daisy that I rescued from the Nash Animal Shelter and enjoy spending time with her.
Madison
Madison – Animal Caretaker
I was born in Wilson NC but grew up in Black Creek. We had 29 chickens, 3 dogs, and 2 rabbits. I now have 7 cats, 3 dogs, and 4 chickens. I have a huge family that lives mainly in Wilson County. Me and my family spend a lot of time together. I have always had a love for animals. I used to foster dogs and cats for the Maggie Society in Wilson.
I chose this position because I always loved being around animals and have a passion for helping them. I have taken care of stray cats and even kept a few but found new homes for the rest. I love caring for my neighbors pets and knew one day I would want to have a job with pets.
The best part of my job is seeing and greeting the animals in the morning and I love caring for the boarded cats and dogs. I love helping my coworkers and Dr. Morphis take care of sick animals and keep them in a fear free environment.
I love and care for all animals. I have a keen eye for detail and will always make sure they receive the best possible care. My timeliness is always good for me to share because I always do things in a timely fashion.
Outside of work I pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. If I have none to watch I care for my own pets and give them
attention and play with them. One item from my bucket list is to travel to the Steve Irwin Zoo in Australia.
Best quote I’ve ever heard is “All creatues are deserving of a life free from fear and pan. “ –Maura Cummin
