Tammy

Tammy, CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager)

I’m blissfully married with two grown children and three dogs. I have an associate’s degree in animal science and poultry and livestock technology. Plus, I have vast experience working as a veterinary assistant, receptionist, and now as a practice manager.

I’ve been part of the team at Willow Grove Animal Clinic since 2002, and I earned my CVPM certificate in November of 2023.

I entered this field because I’ve always enjoyed working with and helping animals and their owners. Being employed here for so long, I feel I’ve come to know our clients like family, and that makes me extremely happy.

The aspect I enjoy most about my work is building trustworthy relationships with everyone who comes in. Getting to know your pets and your family on a personal level is what makes us unique and helps us give the guidance and support you both need.

In my spare time, I enjoy hunting and fishing. I also love traveling with my family. In fact, one item on my bucket list is to visit Hawaii with my loved ones.

Emily

Emily – Veterinary Assistant

I’ve lived in Greenville, NC since starting middle school and look forward to starting a family here.

Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I am so glad they are a part of my daily life. I’m thankful and blessed to be able to say I am in a career that I love.

The best part of my job is building relationships with families and your furry companions. Even if it’s a one-time visit, I do my best as a healthcare provider to give you the best experience and a feeling of comfort.

In my spare time, traveling to new places and exploring Mother Nature are things I genuinely love. I also enjoy art, music, and dancing. One fun and interesting fact about me is that I can wiggle my ears!

Victoria

Victoria, RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician)

I am from a small town called Kinston, NC. I love my family, especially my parents, brother, and papa. We grew up humble and never really had much, but family was all we needed. I have two degrees; marine technology and, recently, vet technology from Cape Fear Community College. I am working to complete my VTNE to become an RVT (registered veterinary technician).

I chose this job for my love of animals. I want to be able to help other families get their pets back home safe and sound. For some, their pets are all they have, and to be a part of their lives and help them is the best feeling in the world.

The best part of my job is being able to meet the clients and patients. I also enjoy being able to help people understand their pets better and teach them things they don’t know.

In my spare time, my dad and I are round-track race car drivers. I love it! Otherwise, you’ll see me with my friends and family. One day, my dream is to go skydiving or scuba diving.

Will

Will – Veterinary Technician

I received my degree in veterinary medical technology with honors from Nash Community College. Nash’s VMT program started in 2018, and I was an inaugural class member. Now that I’ve graduated, I am continuing to study for the VTNE, the national board exam for a registered veterinary technician status.

Before joining the Nash VMT program, I spent 20 years in the financial services industry. I worked for the same company through two mergers and name changes. I always joke if anyone wrote a book about my life, the title would be “From Banking to Barking.”

For fun, I like to attend concerts, go to movies (especially those about dogs and horses), listen to music, and read books. My favorite movies are the Star Wars series. I also enjoy attending Carolina Hurricanes hockey games.

I am super excited to start my career here at Willow Grove. I plan on being an integral member of the team for many years. I truly admire Dr. Morphis and can learn a lot from her. I rescued a dog named Daisy from the Nash Animal Shelter, and I enjoy spending time with her.

I am from the cozy town of Warsaw, where I share my life with three wonderful kids. Ever since I can remember, my heart has been drawn to the beauty and innocence of animals. Working at the clinic grants me the precious opportunity to extend a helping hand to them in their moments of need.

The most delightful aspect of my job is undoubtedly the chance to meet and nurture countless furry friends. My deep sense of empathy and compassion for animals enriches the atmosphere of our office, bringing comfort and care to all our patients.

Outside of work, I find solace and joy in artistic pursuits such as painting and solving puzzles. I’m also fascinated by the inner workings of things and often find myself dismantling objects just to understand them better. One cherished dream on my bucket list is to embark on a journey to experience the wonders of Australia firsthand.

Baileigh

Baileigh – Animal Caretaker

I’ve spent most of my life in Farmville, with a brief stint in Colorado for two years. The most fulfilling aspect of my job is assisting pets and serving as their advocate.

My suitability for Willow Grove lies in my fear-free approach and strong determination. Beyond the professional realm, I enjoy traveling, hunting, and indulging in some retail therapy.

One item firmly planted on my bucket list is a trip to Germany. As for an intriguing tidbit about me, I used to compete in horse riding for hours on end.

Brittany

Brittany – Receptionist

I am a North Carolina native who has always had a strong love for animals.

I chose this position because of allows me to be around and care for animals. The best part of my job is being part of a team that helps animals improve and maintain their well-being and happiness.

I am caring, compassionate, friendly, and positive. Outside of the office, I spend time with my dog, traveling, riding ATVs, and binge-watching my favorite shows. Traveling the world is on my bucket list.

The staff was amazing! They treated our baby just like he was their own. He is already feeling better, and we just left the office 10 minutes ago. I highly recommend Willow Grove Animal Clinic!
