Before Surgery
Before surgery, we perform pre-anesthetic blood work. This screening helps us evaluate organ function (like the liver and kidneys), check for hidden illness, and ensure your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia safely.
During Surgery
During surgery, your pet will be surrounded by a team of familiar faces who monitor your pet and are by their side throughout the entire procedure, from their heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and more. Most importantly, our team will monitor your pet’s pain management to keep your pet as comfortable as possible. Dr. Morphis performs each procedure with the care, skill, and precision that come from her more than 30 years of veterinary experience.
After Surgery
Your pet will be monitored well after surgery as they wake up from anesthesia to the familiar faces of our team. During their initial moments after waking from anesthesia, our team will watch and care for them until they are ready to head home and back in your loving arms or laps.
Now that your pet is heading home, you’ll leave with clear instructions and support for every step of their recovery. This may include medications for comfort, scheduling follow-up visits, and tips to help your pet rest and heal safely at home.
