Behavior Counseling

Sometimes, our pets tell us how they feel or give hints to their overall wellness through their behaviors. Behaviors can strain the relationship between a pet and their family.

Our team is trained to understand pets and help their families understand them. Let us help bridge that gap to help you address unwanted behaviors and improve your pet’s overall quality of life and your bond with them. .

What We Help With

    • Aggression or reactivity
    • Anxiety of fear-related behaviors
    • Destructive chewing or scratching
    • Digging
    • Excessive barking
    • Litterbox or house soiling
    • Spraying or marking

Our Approach to Behavior

When meeting with our team, you can expect compassionate, judgment-free guidance tailored to your pet’s behaviors.

We’ll provide education (tools and resources) to help you understand what’s behind those behaviors and offer personalized, long-term solutions that fit your pet and your family, not quick fixes.

Why is this important to you and your pet?

When working together, we can help your pet live a calmer and happier life.

This, in turn, reduces stress placed on the family, which allows you to build a stronger bond between your family and your pet.

Dr. Susan and her assistant checking the dental health of a cat

I've been taking my dog, Skeeter, to Willow Grove to get treated for heartworms and hookworms, and they have taken great care of him and me! He is a shy dog, but they treat him as well as they possibly can and make him as comfortable as they can. Dr. Susan is a great veterinarian!
