Posted : 7/30/2010 Comments : We came to Dr. Barrow when our dear cat Tigger was deathly ill. Another vet in the area had treated us so coldly and no attention had been paid to what her true issues were that we were devastatated and left with nowhere to turn. Enter Dr. Barrow and her wonderful staff. Their compassion was deeply appreciated and they tried everything they could to save our beloved Tigger. After her death we were sent a beautiful card and other momentos of our sweet Tigger. We can't thank them enough for the compassion they showed us. We continue to take our Golden Retriever and other cat to her as well and are so thankful we found Dr. Barrow and her staff. If you want a vet that understands your pet is a member of your family, you have found the right place.

Posted : 6/25/2010 Comments : Belle was a very special Golden Retriever, with very special needs who beat all odds that she would live to be 9 years of age. Belle had myasthenia gravis and was the miracle of the Raleigh Vet School. She was the test dog for Roche Pharmaceuticals that led to the clinical trials of Cellcept for humans with MG. She was the only survivor after 6 months on the program, however, she proved the drug worked, thus giving MG patients a wonderfull life. Belle contracted cancer many months ago that we knew would eventually happen. We wanted to thank Dr Barrow for helping our girl with her weekly checkups and for being there when it was time. It can be hard to take care of an angel trying to earn her wings. Belle died peacefully on June 23. We will never forget her as she touched a lot of people on this earth, we are just glad we were included....Russ Krainiak

I am always greeted warmly by Sallie Eason. Danielle Huggins is genuinely caring and concerned. Dr. Susan Barrow is clearly the best of the best. I would recommend Willow Grove Animal Clinic to anyone. Thanks!

Posted : 6/1/2009 Comments : TODAY MY DOG DIED OR RATHER MY DEVOTED FRIEND. SHE HAD BEEN SICK SEVERAL WEEKS. SHE HAD HAD HER SPLEEN REMOVED. SHE WAS ANEMIC. DR. BARROW TRIED EVERYTHING SHE KNEW TO GET HER WELL. CALLING OTHER DRS. , VET. SCHOOL, ETC.
BUT WE LOST.
IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT FROM LACK OF ATTENTION FROM DR. BARROW AND HER STAFF. I REALLY BELIEVE THAT SHE AND HER STAF HAD - HAS MORE LOVING AND EMOTIONAL INPUT TO HER ANIMALS AND THEIR OWNERS THAN ANY VET. I KNOW. I REALLY BELIEVE THEY FEEL JUST LIKE YOU DO ABOUT YOUR PET.
I WILL ALWAYS FEEL THAT PRECIOUS WAS GIVEN THE BEST CARE THAT SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN ANYWHERE ELSE.FOR THIS I AM AND ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL TO HER AND HER STAFF.

Posted : 5/17/2009 Comments : Having dealt with Dr Barrow and her staff since 2001. She has taken great care of all our pets. The most recent pet was a Chinese Crested Powerpuff named Athena. We took Athena to the vet for spaying 2 days after we accured her, she was very skittish with human contact. While at the vet Danielle took great care of her and when we brought her back home she was starting to come around to see us as Danielle spent time giving her a lot of human contact to help us along. Also we have a minature schnozer named Odie that love coming to see Dr. Barrow. Thank you Dr. Barrow And staff for a job well done.

Posted By : Amy Greene Posted : 2/11/2009 Comments : In September 2008, I had no idea the little black blob in my back yard was a dog, much less a dog who was alive. He could barely move and was nothing but a skeleton. I had never seen an animal in real life look so neglected and pitiful. I'll be honest, a dog was not in our budget. But for whatever reason, he found us and we gladly took him in. We jokingly called him Willis. I knew it was all over once our 2 year-old son looked at him and said, "I love you Willis." Willis is one of the sweetest dogs that we could have ever been blessed to find, and he has become a very special presence in our daily lives. The staff and Dr Barrow will tell you Willis has come a long way from their first meeting. He is now a plump and happy little beagle. You truly can look into those big brown eyes and see the gratitude for saving his life. We are so appreciative to Willow Grove for helping us rescue this wonderful dog. God Bless!

When we lost Brittney and got a new puppy we took her there right away when we thought something was wrong and they were so nice. Thank you for being the best vet office I know of. Your staff is great.

Posted : 7/24/2008 Comments : We love Dr. Barrow too. She's so sweet to our babies! We lost our Sugar Bear recently and it was so kind, gentle and dignified. She allowed us time to grieve and to love on him when he left us. We love this animal clinic. All the staff are wonderful. We are thankful to find this wonderful place for our pets.

The staff calls and checks up on him. Yesterday they called to check on his ears. I must say I am very impressed. I love the newsletter too.

They were so nice and made me feel right at home. They checked on her for me when I called the next morning to see how she was doing. When I picked her up they were so nice and answered every question with care and ,made sure that I was satisfied. Thank you Willow Grove!

Posted : 4/3/2007 Comments : Dr. Susan takes care of our Shug as if she were her own animal. We have enjoyed taking Shug into our lives and since our kids have grown up she is getting quite spoiled. She has taught us about being better humans. Thanks, Willow Grove! You're the best!
